n "863" High Technology Research and Development Program of China, ―Technology of solar evacuated tube for trough solar thermal plants, Dec. 2007- Nov. 2010, Principle Investigator.
The objective of the project is to develop high-temperature (~400℃) solar evacuated tubes, which will be applied for trough solar thermal plants.
n National Science Funding, China, ―Research on selective absorption and emission of high-temperature solar coating, Jan. 2008-Dec. 2010, Principle Investigator
The objective of the project is to develop high-temperature solar selective absorption surface and selective thermal emitter, which will be applied for high-temperature solar thermal electricity application.
n National Science Funding, China, ―Poly-crystalline silicon thin film based on magnetron sputtering and metal induced crystallization, Jan. 2012- Dec. 2015, Principle Investigator.
The objective of the project is to develop low-cost fabrication technology of thin film polysilicon, which will be applied for thin film solar cells or transistors.
n the sub-program of "863" High Technology Research and Development Program of China, ―4×25Gb/s integrated device array of Electro Absorption (EA) Modulator and Distributed Feedback (DFB) Laser, Jan. 2015- Dec. 2017, Principle Investigator.
The objective of the project is to develop 4×25Gb/s integrated device array of DFB-EA, which will be applied for fiber communication.
n Tsinghua University Initiative Scientific Research Program, ―GaN semiconductor thin films on amorphous substrates, Jan. 2016-Dec. 2018, Principle Investigator
The objective of this project is to investigate the dynamics and technologies for GaN epitaxy on amorphous substrates (e.g. glass), which will be applied for GaN-based area light source.
