Our research area is centered at advanced semiconductor devices, which are the most fundamental components for modern electronic information technology. Specifically, my research is focused on advanced organic electronic materials and organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs). This technology is a new flexible/bendable and low-cost semiconductor device technology, which has the great potential in bioelectronics and flexible sensors for the next generation of human-machine interaction and medical diagnosis/treatment, including augmented reality/virtual reality, wearable devices, electronic implants, brain-machine interfaces. These include:
1. New device structures
2. Flexible TFT circuits
3. TFT-based systems
4. Novel bioelectronic sensing/stimulation systems
