Research Status

Dr. Tao is committed to exploring and developing new theoretical methods and key technologies of computing communication. She focuses on the framework of computing communication with multimedia quality of experience (QoE) as the optimization goal. Supported by artificial intelligence, deep learning, computer vision and other technologies, she will develop new methods such as QoE measurement and QoE modeling, and explore new technologies for intelligent transmission based on multimedia transmission and network optimization. It lays an important foundation for significantly improving the sustainable development capability of broadband mobile networks, especially for large-capacity multimedia services. Currently, she has published 55 papers included in SCI expanded, more than 60 papers included in EI. She has won the Best Paper Awards, received 40 invention patents, and received the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars; the China Youth Science and Technology Award, National Key Research and Development Project, etc.
