Born in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. Mr. Xiao entered the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University in September 1985 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in July 1990. He graduated with a Master's degree in July 1992 and stayed on as a teacher in August of the same year. He obtained his PhD in Engineering from the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University in July 2003.
