Industrial IoT and IoT for Smart Roads

In industrial IoT, the wireless communication system needs to provide low-delay, high-reliable, and high-speed data links to connect the large amounts of high-density sensor nodes as well as other intelligent devices, which are deployed throughout the intelligent workshop and on intelligent robots. Similarly, on smart roads, the wireless communication system also needs to establish low-delay, high-reliable, and high-speed data links among the large amounts of vehicles (autonomous and conventional), sensor nodes on the road and curb, as well as the roadside base stations. My research goal is to develop reliable and efficient communication systems for the large number of wireless devices with high density and high mobility in industrial IoT and smart roads.
