The simultaneous realization of  large bandwidth and high spectral resolution is the principal challenge in the fields of the optical signal processing, ultra-narrow linewidth laser generation and high resolution spectroscopy. The opto-acoustic nonlinear interaction  in the optical structure can have both of the advantages of large bandwidth of optical waves and high  spectral resolution of the acoustic waves.
