Fully compressible wideband radar signal generation with photonic frequency multiplication

- Abstract:We demonstrate wideband radar signal generation by combining the advantages of direct digital synthesis and photonic frequency multiplication. Linear frequency modulated waveforms with a time-bandwidth product as high as 3200 are generated experimentally.
