Xing Lin is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University, leading the Photonic Computing and Integration research lab (www.photoniccomputing.org). He has co-authored over 50 publications in scientific journals and conferences (including Science, Nature Photonics) with citations over 5000 and holds over 20 issued patents. He is the recipient of the MIT TR35 Asia Pacific award, the AI Chinese Young Scholar award, and the science and technology progress first prize award of the Chinese Institute of Electronics. His research interests are in the areas of photonic computing, photonic integration, and neuromorphic photonics.
