Profile
Prof. Kaiyu Cui is a Tenured Associate Professor, Bingkun Zhou Scholar in Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing 100084, China. She is awarded as the National Distinguished Young Scholar of China in 2022. She has published more than 90 journal papers and applied over 100 patents as the first inventor on nanophotonics, focusing on photonic crystals, metasurfaces, and optomechanical crystals. Her recent representative work includes spectral imaging and in-sensor computing chip, phonon lasing and on-chip mechanical exceptional points. Now she severs as the Young Editor of Photonics Insights and the Editorial Board Member for Scientific Reports. She is the founder of Seetrum Corporation Limited, which dedicated to introducing spectral imaging chips into the high-volume application market.
